Circulo is the platform through which YOU and WE can pursue issues of waste management professionally.
We are an organization from Târgu Mureș, Romania founded in 2020. We are committed to helping local communities to optimize their waste disposal system.
Our mission is to teach people to manage waste as a resource that can be reused, repurposed and recycled.
Our vision is to live in a circular economy.

Description
Aftermovie about our VIBE Koli workshop. The participants were able to learn about selective waste collection, as well as try out our recycling machines, after which they could leave with small recycled souvenirs.😉

Together with ERA Pets SH we went on a walk and bond event where we collected trash while walking our dogs.

Description
At the "2022 Közösen kitakarítjuk! / Împreună curățăm!" event organized by Radio Târgu Mureș , we presented our small scale recycling factory. With the help of the precious plastic machines people could expreience the process of plastic recycling first hand.
Mures river cleanup

Description
This event marked the 5th time that Radio Târgu Mureș organized its cleanup event. More than 550 people came to help clean the Mureș river. The circulo team was tasked with organizing the efforts on the north side of the river.
Our first recycled products
2021.12.01. - Târgu Mureș
Description
Our first products were created using the precious plastic injection machine. The machine heats up and injects shredded plastic into an aluminum mold. If we have a mold for it we can create it. The first things we created where a carbineers, piranha clamps and cups. Special thanks to Akos who lended us his molds and guided us with his experience in plastic recycling.

2021.12.01. - Târgu Mureș
Description
We built a small scale recycling facility, according to the designs made by the precious plastic team.
We want to use these machines to create workshops where people can experience recycling first hand.

Event tent at Street Music Festival
2021.09.11. - Târgu Mureș
Description
Participants at @streetmusic_ms!, were able to visit our tent and meet us in person. Our tent featured an augmented reality dumpster and a photo booth were people could take pictures! We spoke and debated with visitors about the waste system in our city.
Mureș river cleanup with Radio Târgu Mureș

Description
This event marked the 4th time that Radio Târgu Mureș organized its cleanup event. More than 500 people came to help clean up the Mureș river. The circulo team was tasked with organizing the efforts on the north side of the river.

Visit to Eco Bihor

Description
Visiting one of the most sophisticated and organized recycling facilities in Romania was a huge opportunity for our team. It gave us the chance to see first hand how the waste stream works, and what are the key areas we should focus on.
MUMUSH Earth day cleanup
2020.04.15. - Adrianu Mare
Description
In collaboration with the MUMUSH community we organized an earth day cleanup in Adrianu Mare. We collected waste from the village, festival area and nearby water streams. We highly recommend MUMUSH festival, where you can have a great time, while being sure that the impacts on the environment is carefully minimized, by organizers and participants.
